ABOUT ME
I am fortunate to be the the father of two students here in Hollis, and I’m blessed with a beautiful, supportive wife. I feel compelled to run for Select Board because I know the pressures facing our town from lobbyists in Concord. I have watched as development and deference to developers has chipped away at the historic character and rural feel of our community.
My Passion
I am the founder of HollisWatch, a local community organization dedicated to preserving the rural characteristics of the town we love. Over the years, I have worked to pass zoning ordinances that protect the Town from high-density development. I have assisted in preventing the development of a gas station in our precious aquifer and worked to ensure high-density condominium developments were denied variances. I know the achievements of HollisWatch will have a positive impact on the Town both now and in the future. I am proud to have done my part, along with many other dedicated volunteers. Moving forward, I know I can be more effective as a Select Board member.
Local Governance
I am a strong supporter of local governance. The ability of Hollis residents to make decisions directly at town and special meetings is the strength of New Hampshire's participatory democracy. This authority has been degraded by local boards over the years and I intend to make sure that the voice of Hollis residents is what drives decisions, not the interests of developers or special interests.

MISSION STATEMENT
Process and Preservation
I will be guided by the principals of our participatory democracy. I will ensure that the process of citizen government is primary in decisions for our town. I will work to protect the natural resources that were conserved and handed down from those who came before us.
